OPERATION OF SEPARATORS CAD

Grain cleaning is an important step in obtaining high quality seed or marketable grain. Modern grain cleaning equipment makes it possible to make the technological process of grain cleaning more efficient. GRAIN CLEANING TECHNOLOGY: STAGES AND EQUIPMENT

The technology for cleaning a heap of impurities (organic, metal-magnetic, mineral, etc.) consists of three successive stages. The classic grain cleaning scheme includes 3 stages:

1. Preparatory stage. Grain material is processed no later than one day after harvesting in order to avoid germination, self-heating and increase in crop moisture. At the preparatory stage, coarse sieves, scalpers and air flow remove the largest impurities from the heap.

2. Primary (main) stage. Primary cleaning of grain is carried out after preliminary cleaning and drying. Humidity of the mass should not exceed 18%, and the content of weed impurities – 8%. To process the material, sieve machines, aerodynamic or trieres (grain cleaning machines that separate the admixtures of wild oat and puppeteer, screen out grains along the length), stoners are needed. Here it is important to weed out the maximum of mechanical debris with a minimum loss of material (the efficiency of separating impurities of fine and coarse fractions is 60% and higher).

3. Secondary (final) stage. Grain final cleaning is also called grain finishing. For processing, sophisticated equipment is used to clean grain from impurities: separators, vibrating pneumatic tables, color sorters. They finally separate the impurities and separate the grain into fodder and seed. The latter, in turn, is separated into seed and food material.

The separation of the mass of grain and its simultaneous purification from impurities is called separation. It is carried out on separators, which are of different types, dimensions, and different capacities. Another useful grain cleaning machine is the CAD separator. The selection of the best seeds is carried out on the CAD separators, sometimes replacing the classical grain cleaning scheme. The aerodynamic separator is designed to eliminate any impurities in the grain to increase the yield of seeds.

As a result of processing for a single pass through grain cleaning machines at ZAVe, the grain is brought to basic conditions. The CAD separators are installed at the ZAV for the final processing of grain to obtain seed.
